Have you heard of Five Labs, the site that claims to predict your personality and match against your Facebook friends? They claim to predict this based on the words you use in your FB posts. I did it for fun and then clicked on their definitions…
Agreeableness: A tendency to be compassionate and cooperative rather than suspicious and antagonistic towards others. It is also a measure of one’s trusting and helpful nature, and whether a person is generally well tempered or not…
Ok… so what words tell Five Labs if a person is agreeable?
excited • blessed • a • great • wonderful • amazing • prayers • a • wonderful • an • awesome • the • lord • had • a • great • an • amazing • great • day • excited • for • thank • you • in • christ • thanksgiving • psalm • so • excited • love • you • all • proverbs • merry • christmas • was • amazing • church • praise
hmmm… ok maybe an agreeable person is also religious… checkmate Atheists!
Ok fine, let’s ignore that and look at the next trait:
Conscientiousness: A tendency to be organized and dependable, show self-discipline, act dutifully, aim for achievement, and prefer planned rather than spontaneous behavior.
Ok, not my definition.. that person sounds like a hard driving overachiever, but anyway, what are the words that conscientious people use according to the Five Labs?
ready for • to work • great day • blessed • ready • a great • thankful • relaxing • back to work • ready to• a great day • at work • workout • long day • vacation • excited • wonderful • so excited • had a great •thanksgiving • great day ! • blessings • success • a wonderful • a blast • weekend • ready for the • relax• getting ready • the weekend • finals • busy • day at work • thankful for • great weekend • semester •prayers • time with • day off • wait to
Because nothing says “conscious” like showing everyone what a great day you’re having. Especially to the friends who can’t afford that vacation you’re getting ready for this weekend, to Italy, that you’ve been blessed with and are excited about and can’t wait to take time off that you’re so excited and you’re so ready for and soon you can relax after a long day at work… So conscientious it has me wishing they get sand fleas up their swim trunks.
